Since opening its doors over five decades ago, the Farm Show has been a popular community event for Central Minnesota. Visitors can look for special product offers, entertainment, and educational opportunities from a variety of professional vendors. Each year the Farm Show committee awards 6 Central Minnesota area high school students with a $1000 scholarship.  We are pleased to announce the 2018 Central Minnesota Farm Show Scholarship winners:

The Central MN Farm Show committee is EXPANDING the scholarship prgram for 2019.  They will be matching dollar for dollar up to $5000 for donations/sponsorships towards $1000 scholarships for high school and post secondary students going into an agri related field of study.

2018 Farm Show Seminar Schedule

Day 1: Tuesday, February 27th  

 Session 1: 10:30- 11:45 a.m.

  • Carrying the Load: Is your equipment fit for the road?

  • Dave Busse, commercial motor vehicle officer with the Minnesota State Patrol will provide the latest rules and regulations on roadside inspections, load securement, transporting hazardous materials, road safety with farm equipment, federal farm exemptions and state statutes, and common paperwork and equipment violations.


  • Session 2: 1:30-2:45 p.m.

    • Water Quality/Buffer Zone Panel

    • This panel will represent the legal side, the farmer’s point of view, and the government agencies.

    • On the panel will be: Gary Leistico and/or Jayne Esch Rinke Noonan Law firm, Warren Formo Minnesota Agricultural Water Resource Center,  Tom Gile Buffer & Soil Loss coordinator, BWSR
