Waite Park

About Waite Park

The Waite Park Chamber is a place where business, education and government come together for the betterment of the Waite Park community.

The City of Waite Park is conveniently located on the western edge of St. Cloud, approximately 70 miles northwest of the Twin Cities. Incorporated as a village in 1893, the actual development of Waite Park began in the mid-1800s as travelers crossed the Sauk River and dubbed the area “Waite’s Crossing.”

Through decades of residential and commercial growth, Waite Park has retained its connectivity and hometown culture while serving as a valuable hub of industry. Today more than 7400 people live in this thriving community.
